Description: - A Victorian 18ct yellow gold engraved Keeper ring. The ring is engraved with a cross-over foliate decoration to a reeded shank.

The ring is hallmarked with Chester marks, '18' for 18 carat gold, and date letter 'Q' to denote 1899.

Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct).

Period: - Late 19th Century.

Date: - 1899.

Maker: - Edward Vaughton.

Measurement: - UK ring size N 1/2 (leading edge).  US ring size 7 (leading edge). The band measures approximately 8.8mm (width) to the front.

Weight: - 7.1 grams.

Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. Light surface scratches and wear commensurate with age. The ring displays evidence of previously having been resized. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
