Description: - A Georgian period 12ct gold garnet & rose cut diamond cluster ring. The ring is set with a centrally set oval cut garnet, surrounded by 13 rose cut diamonds (approx. 0.39cts total), all in a closed back setting, to a wide hoop band. As was common for the period the ring is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 12ct gold minimum fineness, and silver fronted.
Period: - Early 19th Century.
Date: - Circa 1800s.

Measurement: - The ring is a UK Size G to the leading edge, and US Size 3 3/8. The face of the ring measures 1.3cm x 1.1cm.
Weight: - 5.1 grams / 0.16 troy ounces.
Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. The closed back central oval cut garnet displays minor wear and abrasion commensurate with age. The closed back rose cut diamonds are in good condition. The ring has minor tarnishing/patina. Gemstone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
